POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) — Josh Pascarelli’s 13 points helped Marist defeat Fairfield 58-55 on Friday night.
Pascarelli shot 5 for 10, including 3 for 7 from beyond the arc for the Red Foxes (16-10, 11-6 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). Max Allen scored 12 points while going 5 of 10 from the field, and added five rebounds. Jaden Daughtry was 2 of 3 shooting and 4 of 4 from the free throw line to finish with 10 points, while adding seven rebounds.
The Stags (18-11, 12-6) were led by Caleb Fields, who posted 15 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. Fairfield also got 13 points, six rebounds and three steals from Jalen Leach. Brycen Goodine also had 10 points.
Marist next plays Sunday against Iona at home, and Fairfield will host Canisius on Thursday.
